Kindness in Chongyang, full of emotions in Xingyu

Double Ninth Festival, a traditional Chinese festival, is celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, with a strong sense of respect for the elderly

On the morning of the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, the Hebei Cishi Charity Foundation and the Hebei Provincial Cultural Exchange Association, together with their party branch, held an event called "Kindness in Chongyang, Affection in Xingyu" in Xingyu Village, Houjiazhuang Township, Neiqiu County, Xingtai City.

The morning in the mountains is so fresh and beautiful. Early in the morning, the grandparents in the village came to the square with the songs brought by the art troupe to enjoy the opera performance. Volunteers were busy making dumplings, frying deep-fried dough sticks, steaming rice cakes. Everyone was full of happy smiles

At the event, Wu Xiaohui, Secretary of the Party Committee of Houjiazhuang Township, Lu Ruiwu, Mayor of Houjiazhuang Township, Liu Zhenzhong, Secretary of the Party Branch of Xingyu Village, and Liu Hongyan, Executive Director of Hebei Cishi Charity Foundation, participated in the event and delivered speeches. Wu Xiaohui, Secretary of the Party Committee, stated that respecting the elderly and loving the elderly are the fine traditions and virtues of the Chinese nation. When the elderly are happy, their families will be happier and the countryside will be more harmonious.
