In the beautiful season of spring sunshine and lush willows and red flowers, on April 9, 2024 (the first day of the third lunar month), when the traditional festival of spring outings and spring outings arrived, the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hebei Folk Culture Association was successfully held in Yifangcheng, Zhao County. The launch ceremony of the Hebei Province "Yifangcheng Cup" Poetry and Literature Competition was also held, which was a grand event in the cultural and artistic circles of the whole province, as well as an experience exchange activity for showcasing their talents and abilities.

It is reported that the Hebei Folk Culture Association was officially established on February 20, 2004. Today is the 20th anniversary commemoration ceremony of the association and the launch ceremony of the "Yifangcheng Cup" Poetry and Literature Competition. It is also a literary gathering that connects the past and opens up the future. Vice President Yuan Chenqing read out a congratulatory letter from the Chinese Folklore Society, while Honorary President Zhou Zhenguo and General Manager Chen Yongli of Yifangcheng delivered congratulatory messages.

The President of our association, Wang Jianshe, summarized the work direction and main achievements of our association over the past 20 years in his speech. Mainly, we must always adhere to the leadership of the Party in carrying out various business and social public welfare activities, adhere to the basic purpose of "promoting traditional culture and developing advanced culture", and practice the action slogan of "going to the people, going to the grassroots"; Persist in exploring and organizing folk culture on the land of Yan and Zhao, and search for the historical and cultural roots of our Hebei province. We have achieved fruitful cultural achievements and also trained a group of outstanding academic and artistic talents.

According to incomplete statistics, more than 200 books and over 300 papers on folk studies, folk literature and related themes have been edited and published; The number of members has grown from over 100 at the time of its establishment to over 1100 now, making it an excellent club established earlier and with a larger team in the province. Our association has also organized over 100 social and cultural activities for public welfare. Including commemorating the 90th and 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, as well as the 60th and 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, as well as large-scale red cultural activities such as the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Korean War and the Korean War; And the annual Qixi Lovers' Day in Hebei Province, which has been held for 19 years, has rewarded more than 400 skillful, talented, kind and filial daughters of "today's Vega", and has also carried out the Yanzhao Folk Temple Fair in Beijing for nine consecutive years, so that about 1 million people have enjoyed the traditional flavor of the year.

At the meeting, President Wang Jianshe also proposed the key tasks and requirements for the future work of the association.
