Cold follows the night, spring follows the fifth shift. On February 24th, the 15th day of the first lunar month, the highly anticipated 9th Jingji Yanzhao Folk Temple Fair was successfully concluded in the Gongcheng Yinxiang neighborhood of Gaocheng District, Shijiazhuang City.
This year's temple fair will open on January 29th (the 19th of the twelfth lunar month), adopting a "1+1" double ring festival design. The first stage is from January 29th to February 9th (the 19th of the twelfth lunar month to New Year's Eve), with the theme of catching up with the grand festival in the twelfth lunar month; The second stage is from February 10th to 24th (the first to fifteenth day of the first lunar month), with the theme of visiting temple fairs in the first lunar month, mainly featuring characteristic intangible cultural heritage exhibitions and cultural parks. During the temple fair, more than 100 exhibitors participated, organizing more than 70 exhibitions and performances of various intangible cultural heritage and folk customs, and carrying out nearly 50 amusement projects; The daily average number of tourists is 6000, with a maximum of 15000 visitors per day.
The organizers have successively launched 12 highlight activities, including giant dragon lanterns to celebrate the New Year, palace lantern appreciation, sending off Spring Festival couplets, welcoming spring concerts, iron flower performances, Five Paths of Wealth to celebrate the New Year, war drums to compete for spring, international cuisine, and childlike fun, to help the general public celebrate a joyful, fulfilling, and joyful Spring Festival.
