Quan Quan Field Trip Event

On October 15, 2023, with the radiant sun and beautiful autumn weather, it was a wonderful day. To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Cihang Group, the Hebei Cultural Exchange Association and the Hebei Folk Culture Association invited writers, poets, and artists from the provincial capital and some counties and cities to participate in a joyful field trip at the "Quan Quan Ecological Leisure Valley," developed by Hebei Quan Quan Tourism Development Co., Ltd. in Hebei.

Those who participated in this field trip included: Chen Quanzhou, Chairman of the Cihang Group and President of the Hebei Cultural Exchange Association; Yuan Xuejun, Advisor to the Chinese Folklore Society and Honorary President of the Hebei Folk Culture Association; Jia Guosuo, Advisor to the Hebei Folk Culture Association; Wang Jianshe, President of the Hebei Folk Culture Association; Wen Hongyi, Vice President of the Hebei Cultural Exchange Association; Yuan Chenqing and Hu Haixia, Vice Presidents of the Hebei Folk Culture Association; Xiao Yu, President's Assistant and Secretary General; Fan Gengxi and Fu Zhiwei, President's Assistants; Kang Zhiliang, Vice Chairman of the Luquan District Writers Association and former Chairman of the Luquan District Writers Association; Liang Wenzheng, President of the Shijiazhuang Music and Literature Society; Wang Ning, Director of the Zhengding County Cultural Center and President of the Zhengding County Prose Society; Shao Bingna, President of the Zhengding County Folk Culture Association; Li Qian, Deputy Director of the Gaocheng District Cultural Center; Xi Ling, Vice Chairman of the Zhao County Writers Association; and literary enthusiasts from Chang'an District, Qiaodong District, Luancheng District, and Handan, totaling more than 80 people.

Climbing and Gathering Inspiration

Cihang Group was registered and established in Shijiazhuang on November 11, 1988. Over the past 35 years, under the leadership of Chairman Chen Quanzhou, the group has weathered many challenges and achieved remarkable success. It has grown into a large corporate group with an integrated approach to culture, business, and charity, consisting of ten different sectors. By employing the strategic principles of "going out and bringing in," the group has carved its own path in the field of cultural exchange and cultural industry development, both at home and abroad, and has achieved outstanding accomplishments.

Chairman Chen is a dedicated researcher and promoter of China's rich traditional culture, and he has been committed to this cause for decades. In 2005, he was appointed as an academician by the Chinese Academy of Modern Management Science. In 2009, he was appointed as an advisor by the Chinese Institute of Urban Competitiveness, and he serves as a visiting professor at Central South University. In September 2022, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to sustainable human development, he was honored with the title of Academician in the Department of Sustainable Development by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

This morning, the writers, poets, and scholars who came to gather inspiration and visit were full of enthusiasm as they ventured into the depths of the mountains. They had the chance to witness the green hills, red leaves, fresh flowers, and flowing water, reconnecting with nature, which was truly refreshing and invigorating. They also visited the ancient cave, the Lingyan Hidden Cave, and the newly reconstructed Lingyan Ancient Temple.

During the symposium, President Chen Quanzhou shared with everyone the decades-long journey of Cihang Group's arduous entrepreneurship. He explained the significant strategic and practical importance of cultural industry, corporate culture, and the "Belt and Road" economic and cultural exchanges. He emphasized the importance of inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and the company's core principle of "putting the benefit of life first, with profit as a secondary goal." He pledged to continue making new contributions to the construction of a socialist economic and cultural powerhouse.

Wang Jianshe, President of the Hebei Folk Culture Association, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the utmost importance of inheriting and promoting China's excellent traditional culture and the construction of a socialist cultural powerhouse. He discussed the purpose and significance of this event in that context.

Yuan Xuejun, the Honorary President of the Hebei Folk Culture Association, in his concluding speech, emphasized not only the importance of this field trip but also set expectations for the poetic and literary creations in commemoration of Cihang Group's 35th anniversary.

Everyone was enthusiastic and filled with interest, and they recognized this as a unique and distinctive learning experience. They expressed their commitment to producing artistic masterpieces that reflect the developmental journey and experiences of Cihang Group, and to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the past 45 years of reform and opening up.
