The 8th Jingji Yanzhao Folk Temple Fair was held today in Qiquan Scenic Area

The Lantern Festival on the 15th of the first month was the stage for the social fire to show. The Great Yangko jumped up, swords, spears, swords and halberds became martial, attracting bursts of applause and cheers from the crowd. This is the joyous atmosphere at the “8th Jingji Yanzhao Folk Temple Fair”.

The Jingji Yanzhao Folk Temple Fair is hosted by the Hebei Provincial Cultural Exchange Association and the Hebei Provincial Folk Culture Association. It culminates from the online temple Fair on the fourth day of the New Year to the offline 15th Lantern Festival in the Qiquan Scenic Area.

During the temple Fair, an online literary and art program exhibition and a literary and art party to welcome the God of Wealth were held. The programs recommended from all over the country and the province were in various forms and had a wide range of topics. They were well-received.

At the 15th Lantern Festival, the “donkey running team” from Xiaan, Shang'an Town, Jingling County. The theme is taken from the scenes of working uphill, downhill, and in the fields in labor life. It uses exaggerated and witty performances to show the matchmaker with a cigarette bag, the little daughter-in-law riding a donkey, and the Leng boy with skyrocketing braid. The facial makeup is misplaced and the facial features are colorful. They tease each other and make the audience laugh with grimaces.

The traditional martial arts performed by the Phoenix Mountain Gate in Beifangkou have a closed lock on the top and a pick and kick hook on the bottom.Mengbao Village brought martial arts, fitness and Yangko teams; the fourth division short fists, sticks and guns in Potou Village, Weizhou, were dazzling and won bursts of applause. These social fires came from intangible cultural heritage folk culture.

Mr. Chen Quanquan, President of the Provincial Cultural Exchange Association, said at the closing ceremony that after seeing the wonderful performances today, the teams have formed an old, middle and young echelon, which has helped our folk culture. Young people should be more proficient in their skills. This year's Spring Festival in western countries is celebrating the Chinese New Year, which shows that traditional Chinese culture has gone to the world, worthy of the world's love and trustworthiness. As the president, we must organize an excellent folk society to promote it internationally and dedicate the splendid culture of Hebei folk art to the world.
