Chen Quanzhou's poetry collection "Shuiyue Daqian" debuted in Shijiazhuang

"Shuiyue Daqian" contains 102 poems of medicinal Herbs and Flowers and 57 poems of visiting troubadours created by Chen Quanquan, President of Hebei Provincial Cultural Exchange Association, over the years, and is published by Unity Publishing House.

The event was held in the form of a combination of online and offline. Writers and critics from the Canadian Chinese Poetry Society, the Canadian Chinese Writers Association, Western Trinity University in Canada, Plekhanov University of Economics in Russia, Hebei Provincial Federation of Literature, Hebei Provincial Association of Authors, Hebei Provincial Folk Culture Association, etc. participated in the meeting and delivered speeches.

“It's been more than 60 years since I wrote the first little poem. At that time, I studied traditional Chinese medicine in my spare time. My idea was very simple. I just wanted to talk about the nature of flowers, the posture of flowers, praise the beauty of flowers, and praise the virtues of flowers. At the same time, I reviewed pharmacology and improved my literary cultivation. I didn't expect to accumulate a hundred.Now assembled into a book, I only hope to help the spread of traditional culture of the motherland, especially traditional Chinese medicine culture."Chen Quanquan said the original intention of his creation.

The works included in "Shuiyue Daqian" are famous and expensive peony, peony, and Western lotus. They are more "humble flowers” that “live in the mountains and countryside", such as dandelion, purple flower, flea, earth fritillary, chicken head grass, etc., But the author can see the big in small and medium-sized, and he knows it slightly. It is not formal, clever and pharmacological, and it is interesting to write.
