"Retirement will not fade away, and retirement will not fade away." In order to adhere to the purpose of "serving national defense, respecting military personnel, caring for military families, and helping and relieving difficulties", we will further promote the respect of the military profession and the respect of retired military personnel from all walks of life. As the Army Day is approaching, Hebei Cishi Charitable Foundation, the Hebei Cultural Exchange Association, the Party Branch of Hebei Province, and the Jiantong Office of Yuhua District, Shijiazhuang, jointly launched the "Welcome August 1st, Send Warmth, and Condolences to Veterans" activity , sending warmth and care to retired military personnel.

During this condolence event, essential daily items such as rice, noodles, and cooking oil were provided to ten retired veterans. Mr. Li Hang, the head of the Armed Forces Department of the Jiantong Street Office, and leaders from the Hebei Cishi Charitable Foundation, took the time to have in-depth conversations with the veterans, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their current living conditions and listening to their compelling military stories from the past.

One of the elderly veterans had previously served in the Central Guard Unit and had battled breast cancer a few years ago. After undergoing surgery, they spent time recovering at home, and their health has since significantly improved.

The retired veterans expressed their gratitude for the care and support from all sectors of society. They pledged to continue upholding the outstanding qualities of soldiers, remain true to their original aspirations, and contribute to the economic and social development of Hebei by offering valuable insights and recommendations. They aim to achieve new accomplishments in China's great journey towards modernization with a Chinese character.
