Artistic performance

With the song and dance performance "Yanzhao Fengge" by the art troupe's dance team, the cultural performance began, captivating the nearby residents with graceful and dynamic dance movements.

The children's dances "Together towards the Future" and "Rouge Makeup," performed by the kids from Beigaoying Kindergarten, charmed the audience with their lively and adorable moves. "Magnificent Yan'an" and "Crossing Snowy Mountains and Grasslands" sang of the heroic spirit of the older generation of revolutionaries. The extraordinary cultural performance concluded with the song and dance performance "Red China," leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

Volunteers arrived at the community early, getting busy by bringing the prepared ingredients like glutinous rice, dates, bamboo leaves, and strings to the dining tables. At the event site, everyone worked enthusiastically, bustling around, and one by one, neatly shaped rice dumplings appeared as if by magic from their skilled hands.

While wrapping the rice dumplings, everyone engaged in friendly chats and shared their experiences. Occasionally, they took out their "masterpieces" to compare with each other, trying to determine who wrapped them beautifully and whose dumplings were on the verge of falling apart. Experienced elders also offered guidance to the young ones, creating a joyous atmosphere filled with laughter and camaraderie.

At noon, everyone shared a communal meal, and one elderly person expressed their joy and happiness, saying, "I'm very happy that so many people are celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival with us. I hope we can have more events like this in the future!" The volunteers conveyed their care and respect for the elderly through their actions, spending quality time with them and making the Dragon Boat Festival warm and memorable. They wished all the elderly a healthy and peaceful Dragon Boat Festival !
