Cihang Film and Television News (Reporter: Wei Shengzu, Guo Yufeng) On the morning of May 10th, the Hebei Cultural Exchange Association and the Hebei Folk Culture Association's Handan Liaison Office were officially established in Handan City.

The ceremony was attended by over 30 cultural scholars from both the provincial and Handan city levels, including Chen Quanzhou, the President of the Hebei Cultural Exchange Association, Wang Jianshe, the President of the Hebei Folk Culture Association, Yang Zhongxin, former Vice Chairman of the Handan City Political Consultative Conference, and Zhao Haojun.

Handan is a nationally recognized city of historical and cultural significance with a history of over 3,100 years. It has been awarded the title "Capital of Chinese Idioms and Allusions" by the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles. The Hebei Cultural Exchange Association, with the aim of "Casting the Soul of National Essence and Inheriting Civilization," seeks to expand the cultural influence of Hebei. They implement the "going out" and "bringing in" approach, organizing numerous cultural exchange activities with various countries and regions. The Hebei Folk Culture Association is one of the most influential folk studies research institutions in Hebei Province. In recent years, they have initiated several signature events in areas such as Qixi culture, family values, and the promotion of traditional festivals, and have published multiple research works.

The experts in attendance unanimously believe that the establishment of liaison offices for the two provincial-level associations in Handan will contribute to promoting, uncovering, and disseminating the culture of Handan. It provides a new opportunity and platform for Handan's culture to go international and reach the world. During his address, Chen Quanzhou stated, "Culture is the soul of a country and a nation. Chinese-style modernization is deeply rooted in the outstanding traditional culture of China. Handan has a rich and profound historical and cultural heritage with numerous cultural luminaries. With the establishment of the liaison office, we should focus on researching the abundant philosophical ideas, humanistic spirit, political wisdom, and practical concepts in Handan's culture to contribute cultural strength to the construction of the Handan scene for Chinese-style modernization."

Following the unveiling ceremony, a symposium was held with the leaders and experts in attendance. Ji Zhenjiang, the head of the liaison offices, presented the working plans for the two liaison offices. Several scholars elaborated on their ideas for further research into the outstanding historical and cultural aspects of Handan. Li Decai, Deputy Director of the Handan Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, and Li Yongjun, Deputy Director of the Handan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism, attended the establishment ceremony of the liaison offices.
