Cihang Group Academician Workstation has arrived! China and Russia are joining hands towards the future.

To further promote Sino-Russian international cooperation and advance the Sino-Russian comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, Russian Academy of Sciences academician Chen Quanzhou and the Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Boris Borisovich Leontyev, jointly initiated the establishment of the Cihang Group Foreign Academician Workstation. China and Russia are working together to promote practical cooperation between the two countries and move towards a brighter future.

1. Introduction to Academician Chen Quanzhou

Mr. Chen Quanzhou, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences for Sustainable Development. He currently serves as the President of the Hebei Cultural Exchange Association, Chairman of the Hebei Cishi Foundation, Chairman of the Canadian Ethnic Folk Exchange Association, Dean of the International Education College at Xi'an Polytechnic University, Chairman of the International Health Industry Alliance, and Chairman of Cihang Group. He has previously held positions as a member and standing committee member of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) for theseventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth sessions, as well as a member and standing committee member of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee of the CPPCC for the eighth, ninth, tenth, and eleventh sessions. In 2005, he was appointed as an academician by the Chinese Academy of Modern Management Science. In 2009, he was appointed as a consultant by the Chinese Institute of Urban Competitiveness. In 2012, he was appointed as a visiting professor at Central South University. In 2019, he was awarded the "World Chinese Business Leaders Lifetime Achievement Award" and included in "World Outstanding Experts and Talents Directory," "Chinese Experts and Scholars Dictionary," and "Great Dictionary of Chinese Celebrities." In September 2022, he was awarded the title of foreign academician by the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The Russian Academy of Sciences was established in August 1990, officially recognized by the United Nations in January 1995, and granted non-governmental organization status by the United Nations in July 2002. It currently comprises 18 Nobel laureates, over 270 Russian Academy of Sciences academicians, and more than 20 academicians from other scientific academies, including foreign academicians representing 48 countries.

The Russian Academy of Sciences holds academicians' elections every two years, primarily assessing candidates' academic achievements and influence in their respective fields. The selection process involves recommendations through various channels, nominations by academicians, qualification reviews, division evaluations, assembly elections, and deliberation by the presidium. It culminates in a rigorous series of academic reviews and selection procedures to determine the final list of academicians.

Mr. Chen Quanzhou was elected as a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences in September 2022.

Introduction to Academician Boris

Boris Borisovich Leontyev is the Director of the Russian Institute for Intellectual Property and Business Certification Assessment and also serves as the Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Currently, Academician Boris has authored 500 scientific papers, including 22 monographs, textbooks, manuals, and methodologies.

3. Foreign Academician Workstation of Cihang Group

In December 2022, the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, through the organization's application and rigorous evaluation, officially designated Cihang Group Limited Liability Company as the establishment unit for the Hebei Province Foreign Academician Workstation for the year 2022.

The Cihang Group Foreign Academician Workstation focuses on industry-based key projects to promote in-depth exchanges in various fields, such as culture, science, technology, and economic and trade, between China and Russia. It aims to deepen Sino-Russian neighborly friendship and contribute to setting an example for building a community with a shared future for humanity.

Conducting research in the field of major health

To focus on the application of traditional Chinese medicine in the field of major health, collaborate on research, integrate with clinical practice, and promote industrial development.

Planning and implementing the construction of Sino-Russian industrial parks

To strategically plan the construction of Sino-Russian industrial parks, facilitating the establishment of Russian high-tech enterprises in China while contributing to the practical cooperation between various Chinese enterprises and the Russian government and businesses.

Undertaking research proposals to boost economic development in both countries

In the context of promoting the deepening of Sino-Russian neighborly friendship and strategic cooperation, to propose research projects in both natural sciences and social sciences, securing support from relevant national departments to drive economic development in both countries.

Research on topics related to a community with a shared future for humanity

Engaging in theoretical research on topics related to human sustainable development and the construction of a community with a shared future for humanity, and presenting research findings to contribute to the enduring friendship between the two nations and global peace.

Engaging in cultural exchange activities

Conducting multi-dimensional and multi-level cultural exchange activities and reciprocal visits to strengthen trust and friendship between the people of both countries.

The establishment of the Academician Workstation combines the practical work and requirements of Cihang Group, making full use of the expertise of academicians to play a crucial role in advancing technological progress, promoting transformative and innovative development, and providing intellectual support for high-quality economic and social development in China.
